Junfeng GE is an associate professor of the Department of Aircraft Navigation and Guidance, School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation. He is a member of National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Multispectral Information Processing. His group has developed optical fiber ice sensor, piezoelectric ice sensor, impedance ice sensor and image-based ice detection method. Some of these technologies have been applied in the fields of aircraft icing, highway icing, transmission line icing and wind turbine icing.
Academic Areas: Smart sensor and system, image processing, machine learning.
Research Interests: Ice sensor and ice detection, thermal radiation measurement, multiple sensor fusion, computational imaging.
