A Doctoral Student from Our School Won Excellent Poster Award in IWMBS 2018

Nov 7, 2018

The 3rd International Workshop on Magnetic Bio-Sensing (IWMBS) was held in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan from 5th to 6th in November 2018. Under the guidance of Prof. Wenzhong Liu, doctoral student Silin Guo’s paper “A magnetic nanoparticle concentration measurement based on NMR Para-shift” won the Excellent Poster Award.

As a research hotspot in recent years, magnetic nanoparticle is widely utilized in biomedicine, nano-catalyst, magnetic storage and micro-sensors. In magnetic biosensor, tracing materials and detecting devices play an important role, hence IWMBS paying attention to the latest research and development of instrumentation and tracing materials. IWMBS also provides a platform for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners around the world to exchange their works and achievements and discuss the possible development direction of magnetic biosensor in the future.

The workshop attracts excellent research teams and scholars from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan, China, who are engaged in magnetic nano-biological applications, magnetic sensors and sensing systems, magnetic particle imaging, low-field magnetic resonance imaging, magnetoencephalography, and magnetocardiography.
